Hey guys.
So I've been streaming for the past year and mainly on CS:GO, I recently decided to try out other games and something weird is happening : they are choppy, let me explain.
I've been streaming at 720P/60FPS/3000Kb/s and CS:GO has been running smoothly with these settings ; here's an example. As you can see the quality isn't the best but at least it's smooth and I don't drop frames. On other games like Dying Light, with the same settings, my game is smooth and I have stable FPS on MY screen, but on the stream it's really choppy, here's an example. As you can see from this clip, the menus and some small rooms are smooth, but every time I get back to the game and run in open places the stream drops frames again even though the game is running at over 100FPS on my computer. I tried to lower my settings to 720P/30FPS/2000Kb/s, I tried lowering the resolution, tried changing server, even reinstalling OBS ; nothing works...
So my conclusion is the following : either my computer is doing something wrong, either W10's latest update fucked me up.
Here's my setup BTW :
I5-4670K
AMD R9-290 (aftermarket)
8GB of Kingston HyperX Beast
SanDisk 128GB SSD
Windows 10 Pro
If someone has an answer to my issue it would be great. Thanks in advance guys.
