Question / Help Some questions

I've tried to search online and read through some threads, some remained unanswered, so I just want to clarify something.

1. Does 60 fps use more bitrate? (eg. video bitrate 2500, audio 128, frame rate ??)
2. The recommended max bitrate was 2500, but can i put a higher bitrate and is it worth putting more?

OBS only uses as much bit rate as you tell it to. Setting OBS to 60 FPS does not affect how much bit rate OBS uses. However, the picture quality will be a little less, since you have more frames to spread out your bit rate usage.

You can set whatever bit rate you want, and whatever bit rate you think will work well. Just keep in mind that some services (such as Twitch) don't want you to stream at a bit rate over a certain amount (3500kbps in Twitch's case), and also remember that whatever bit rate you stream at, your viewers will have to be able to download your video that fast, too.

Yep if you have no dropped frames at all, its most likely the twitch server or your friends connection to it.

Yeah, twitch is doing some "fixes" today. Since that Pokemon crap came along, twitch has been very laggy lately. I'm facing the same problem. I can stream with a higher bitrate, but my viewers are telling me the stream won't load. So I had to sacrifice quality in order for my stream to be watchable.
