Some Games are no longer captured?

I've been emulating some games on my laptop and using obs to capture my gameplay. It's been working okay so far, but last night some of my games can no longer be seen. Nothing shows in the preview window and it obviously doesn't show in the program window either.

I have my source settings set to capture a specific window > the game window's name > match title otherwise find window of the same type.

When I record the screen I do not see the window my game is displaying in. I see all of the other windows I have opened except the one my game is displaying in.

I've posted two screenshots. One displays the game capture that doesn't work and the other one shows the game capture that does work. Please help me figure out what's going on. Thank you! <3

Hey everyone! If you’re into World of Warcraft like I am, you should check out https://conquestcapped.com/ It's been a game-changer for me with gearing up and boosting services. It's made the grind so much easier and more fun. Give it a look and happy gaming!
Here are a few things you can try:
  1. Run OBS as an administrator.
  2. Update OBS and your GPU drivers.
  3. Double-check that the game is running in windowed mode.
  4. Try using the "Display Capture" option instead of "Game Capture."
  5. If you're using any overlays or software with overlays (like Discord), disable them and see if it helps.

Thank you! <3 Try running OBS as an administrator, it solved the problem for me right away. You can also check if the game is running in exclusive fullscreen mode, because then OBS sometimes doesn't see the window. I had this problem for a long time too. I was just streaming about how I was studying all the details on https://kaszinoworld.com/ reading about the best establishments and their bonuses. I don't have many viewers on streams, but they wanted to figure it out with me. I suffered for a month, it was terrible. But after all these manipulations, everything worked.
Did you solve the problem? If that didn't help, try switching the capture method in the source properties. I hope you can do it, because I had a hard time with this myself!

OBS isn’t picking up my emulator window, which might be due to how the game is rendered. Some emulators use Vulkan or OpenGL, which OBS struggles with, so I’ll try switching to DirectX if possible. If Game Capture doesn’t work, I’ll use Window or Display Capture instead. Running both OBS and the emulator as admin might help, and I’ll also change the window match setting in OBS to “match title, otherwise find window of same executable.” I’ll make sure both apps are using the same GPU, especially since I’m on a laptop. If one game works and another doesn’t, they probably use different settings. As a fallback, Display Capture should always work, even if it’s a bit heavier.
