Question / Help *SOLVED* Weird Staticy sound when recording silence

Hi everyone,

This is my first time posting in the forums and I'm hoping someone out there will be able to help me out.

When I record with OBS and I stop talking, my microphone picks up this weird staticy sound. I don't know that that's the right word, but I'm using some Turtle Beach x12 headsets they were working fine for the longest time, but now I'm having this issue and I'm not sure what's causing it.

I recorded a sample, but I'm not sure what I can upload to the forums here.

I'm completely forgot that I posted this here, but I wanted to let anyone looking at this know that I've solved the issue. The problem was my microphone was plugged in right next to my wireless mouse and the interference was coming from the mouse's receiver. I moved the mouse to a port farther away from the microphone and everything ironed out.

Issue is solved as far as I'm concerned.
