Question / Help [Solved]Video settings won't save

Title.

This is what I've tried:
Editing settings, applying, switch settings tab, switch back to video settings tab, it is now back to default.
Editing settings, applying, going out of settings without switching tabs, start streaming, displays wrong fps number at bottom right, go back into settings and it's still the default.
Editing settings, applying, exiting settings and shutting down OBS, start it up again and it's still on default.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Did you name the setup and click Save?

If by that you mean either Settings profile, scene, source, or file > save then yes, but I think I got it working now anyway by going into the Settings Profile text document and editing it there manually. Thank you for your response.

That's weird that the Save button didn't do anything, but you are welcome.
