So I game on a custom build laptop.

Running on a i7 and Nvidia GTX 765m.

I have a DUAL band Wifi card 2.4 5Ghz and game while using LAN.

I tried using OBS, not real frame rate drops but the ping is my concern here...while I have 160Mb down, I have 5Mb up..
So when streaming my usual 16 - 40 ping wild skyrocket into 80 - 200.

It so happens that I have 2 internet providers at home.
One on fiber and one on ADSL.

Is it possible to let OBS upload on my wifi and I game on LAN or the other way around?

"Bind to interface" is the name of the option, select the IP address of the interface you wan't to use.

Alright, now I understand, then again :P how to connect to my wifi while I am connected with a lan cable.

My whole point here is to game on one network with my usual ping and no lags..and use the other home network I have too stream the content.

Having both wired and wireless connected is something that can probably be configured in Windows, i don't know how exactly though.

If you have 2 internet providers, then presumably you have 2 modems. Do you have separate routers for each, too?

The basic concept is to plug ethernet into one of the routers connected to one modem, and connect to wifi on a router connected to the other modem.

I think he means that when you plug in the ethernet cable, the wireless disconnects and windows switches to the wired connection. At least I think the wifi disconnects, can't test it, because no laptop with windows around.

SOLVED, I run windows 8.1
I selected the wireless network adapter while being connected with LAN.
Connected with wifi and it connected. The both IP's / connections came visible in the OBS advanced settings..selected the wifi one and it worked.

I can game on LAN and stream on wifi!

From my experience with Windows, it stays connected to both of them.

Glad you got it working, Armada.
