Question / Help [Solved] Playing at 120 fps and recording at 60fps = choppy recording?

I have been recording and playing at 60fps just fine, but have been wanting to actually use my 144hz monitor so I bumped up my fps limit and refresh rate to 120 in game and kept my obs recording at 60fps. I knew this would cause a bit more strain on my system so I tweaked my current settings to lower quality a little but I can't get the recordings to stay at 60fps. They fluctuate from mid 50s to high 40s making the footage stuttery and glaringly not 60fps. My cpu hovers around 80-90% on this new set up but am confused why I can't I push this? Here is my current log file.

As you can see I have been changing the settings around but I get the same results consistently. I was beginning to think that maybe since I do not get a solid 120fps (usually around 100-120fps) that obs wasn't syncing up the 60fps to my constantly changing fps but it from what I understand it is purely my system that can't handle it. Any thoughts on how I can make this work? Thanks a lot!

My System:

Cpu: i7-4770k @ 3.50ghz
Gpu: 980ti
Ram: 16gbs @ 2400mhz
I am also writing the footage to an ssd seperate from my os and games.

1. Update to 17.0.0

2. This log doesn't contain any recording / streaming information.

(Please post a link to a clean log file. To make a clean log file, first restart OBS, then start your stream/recording for ~30 seconds and stop it again (ideally while also running your game). When you're done select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste it here.)

Oops, sorry about the botched link, but I seemed to have figured it out. Thanks for replying quickly!
