Question / Help [Solved] Capture audio from analogue mixer Xone PX5

Faulty Systems

Hi Guys,

I need some help. I am trying to livestream on twitch while DJ'ing. But I can't get the audio from Traktor Pro 3 into OBS-studio.

My setup: Allen & Heath Xone PX5 analogue mixer that's comes with an internal soundcard.
Drivers: official Asio drivers from Allen & Heath website.
Settings: Samplerate at 44.1 khz, 16 bit on all devices

The mixer has the capability to capture the master-output from the Soundcard and route it back to its inputs via the USB connections on channels 9/10. That's how I record my mixes within Traktor Pro 3 sofware. There's a switch on the back panel of the mixer that enables this option.

I am able to record the audio in Audacity, and also Windows detects the input signal.

However, OBS-studio finds nothing. No input at all.

Here's a screenshot:

What am I doing wrong here? I hope someone has a solution or a workaround.

Thanks in advance.

edit: i will upload the log file later when I get home.

Well, I finaly got it working. Can't believe nobody was able to point me in this direction...

OBS Studio only captures channels 1 and 2 from the line in from my soundcard. But in my case with the Xone PX5 the audio is send through channel 9/10.

In order to get things working I've installed a plugin from github. It is called 'OBS Asio' install it and a new Asio source is added to the list in OBS. I can now select my PX5 Asio driver and specify channels 9/10. Done.

Hope this is helpful to anyone out there having similar issues.

WOW! I just signed up to watch your thread here and can't believe you found the solution today.
I'm having a similar problem with OBS not detecting the sound from Traktor with my setup.
Gonna look into that plugin.

My home radio station broadcast setup is: Mic going into my Audient ID22 audio interface analog input 1that feeds to Traktor deck D, the ID 22 is connected to my iMac27" computer via USB, my jingle/station drops are played from my iPad into the ID22 analog input 2 that feeds to Traktor deck C, my headphone are plugged into the ID22 also. I play my MP3's in the Traktor Pro software (No hardware mixer) that feeds to Traktor Decks A&B. I then broadcast all the sounds via Traktor broadcast settings to the radio station in NYC.

PROBLEM: When I try to setup the audio source in OBS it never detects the Traktor output sounds.
