Question / Help [Solved]Can't select an IP / MPEG camera in video devices

Hello,

last week I had my OBS set up perfectly for streaming and I was also using a video camera on my phone over the network (as I don't have a webcam to hand). This was easily done in OBS by just selecting the IP camera device and putting in the address to the camera, however I reformatted Windows yesterday and now I do not have the option to select an IP camera as a device only DXtory and Xsplit. I've figured this must of become an option due to some software that I must of had installed (though I have never installed any software for my phone to work as a ip camera).

So I am here to ask if anyone knows what I should install to give me this option again? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

OBS doesn't support network sources, are you sure you weren't using xsplit? Otherwise maybe you had a camera driver that handled it that you are now missing.

Re: [Solved]Can't select an IP / MPEG camera in video device

I managed to get it fixed and fully working, I installed this program IP Camera Adapter http://ip-webcam.appspot.com/ and it then allowed me to add this camera as a video device in OBS. I'm still not sure what software / drivers that allowed me to previously do it as it definitely wasn't this software I had installed before so that still alludes me but non the less it now works.

Thanks
