Question / Help Solution to 1536 x864 resolution problem.

It turns out that under Windows 8.x, it sets a default magnification of 125% for the desktop. This causes windows to report that the desktop size is in fact 1536x864. The solution is to go to the control panel and set desktop resolution. Under the pull down menus on the left side is a link entitled "make text and other items larger or smaller". Click on this link and set "Change the size of all items" to "smaller". This is a major bug in Windows and hopefully they will fix it in future releases." You may want to makke a stick of this post or stick it in the FAQ since it has come up in several other posts.
