Question / Help [soleved] "Window capture" does not work with multiple Video Cards config

Hi All,
Due to the need for extra displays on my computer - I've installed an addition video card for added video output.
I have now GTX570 and GTX750 where each of them drives different screens.

When running only the GTX570 I've used "window capture" mode to grab multiple displays and mesh them up together.

Since installing the second card, Window capture only captures a black frame.
I've tried using "screen capture" - which works, but capturing the three displays I need (one monitor + two windows on 2 other screens) and trimming off the un-needed area leads to a very big performance drop, which is too much for me (the window capture performace drop was acceptable)

Thank you,
Uri

Use compatibility mode if the window isn't on the same GPU as OBS is compositing on.

Thanks for your reply,
But it seems not to be the issue here.
I've added a simple window capture on a windows explorer window which seem to work regardless on which GPU it was on (I.e which screen it was on).

I've done a monitor capture of one of my monitors (total of 5), containing one of the displays of my game (FalconBMS) added a window capture of the same display with mouse capture. in preview, window capture was white, and the mouse cursor appeared when moved into position. monitor capture looked OK.

I've been seeing a white block on two displays and a black on the other. which is exactly their color while initializing.

so I've added window capture to another game, where the initial frame has some text. it seems that OBS takes the first frame in the video buffer puts it there and does not process any further. so the first frame actually sets as a image file.

Unfortunatly my programming knowledge is such that I cannot even dream of trying to debug this.

Any ideas?

bump.
and some more info,
I've tried multiple games lately,
none works. it seems that "game capture" get's me a black screen, and "window capture" just grabs the first frame and stays there.

I've tried various "Nvidia control panel" settings.
tested both 32 and 64 bit version on both 32 and 64 bit games.

all with the same results (I've been using 0.638b)

in the settings, I've tried x264 and Nvidia encoding, running as admin did not help.

Any more ideas?

If you're using a monitor capture, does that mean Aero is disabled? That can make window captures behave oddly if you have any windows on top of each other.

Thank you for your response.

I havn't disabled Aero at any point. But I'll try and report back.

Thanks again.
