I just started streaming and installed many plugins and tools to improve the stream. Snip worked at first but now i get a microsoft .NET error. This is the text that appears in the details.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

is there a section on here where this post would be appropriate?

Hi Shane,

Not that I know anything about coding, but I do know that in the latest Spotify update, there was an api change. Do to this api change, Snip is now broken and unfortunately there isn't a possible fix yet as part of that api change was transitioning the way the UI (incuding current track) used to display to the way it displays now, which is via an html view. This entire issue has nothing to do at all with OBS. All we can do is hang tight till the Snip dev smashes together a work around and pushes an update. I'm sure that'll happen right after he finishes off his favorite bottle of hard liquor or wine and a handful of ibuprofen ;)

Cheers!

What you can do is having always and old version of Spotify on your pc because Snip crashes when you open the new Spotify.

Here you have the solution:

I downloaded the old spotify from here: http://www.filehorse.com/download-spotify/old-versions/

You have to rerun the installer anytime you reopen Spotify as it will automatically put you on the newer version. Running this version restores the correct functionality for Snip to work.

So, you'll have to always re-rerun the installer of the old Spotify in order to have Snip working fine.
