Snap elements to grid

I tried to find such a topic but I'm couldn't, sorry if I missed.

My suggestion is the following: have a togglable grid on which elements'(sources) top left corner snaps, it would make aligning things in a straight line a lot easier. Something along those lines. Also an option to adjust the size of the grid would be nice.
 
This has been suggested before and I agree, I have it written down in my giant suggestions list. Thank you
