"Smoother" Scene Changing

Really the only thing that's keeping Xsplit being damn near perfect (other than a video playing it's own scene), is there any way possible to change a scene "smoother"? Currently use Avermedia C875 Portable streaming, works phenomenal, Xsplit easily can go from Scene 1 to 2 etc... fading into the new scene.

OBS unfortunately, goes from 1 to 2 "hard", if you know what I mean. Any way to smooth this out? Thanks!

As HomeWorld mentioned, if you add the capture card as a global source, the transition should be a lot smoother. It's currently a "hard" transition because the LGP has to re-initialize when you switch to the scene. If you instead add it as a global source, it will stay loaded when you're not on a scene with the LGP in it.

As for videos, you can currently use this plugin to do so: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4711

Part one of your explanation worked perfectly. But now I can't do that with my webcam (Logitech C920) says, "Device is currently being used as a source in one or more scenes). Problem is now, that everything is fine, but the actions from what I do on camera is off sync with what I'm doing in game. Suggestions?

Quick explanation of what was happening for anyone else who has this error; before re-adding a device as a global source, you have to first delete it from all configured scenes to which it had been added as a non-global source. He'd left the non-global c920 input source on one or more scenes, preventing it from being set up as a global source.

it would indeed be nice to have it smoother when it changed but not only that, the option to adjust the speed such as milliseconds.

If the issue is that the transition is too "hard", make sure your device is set as a global source so that it doesn't have to reinitialize with every scene change.
