Question / Help Smooth Recordings

Hi, i just recently downloaded OBS.
I've played around with the settings but only managing to get "not so smooth" recordings however my ingame is smooth. This is for purely for non-streaming purpose.

Any recommendations or advice?

Computer specs:
i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
16 gb ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 660

Stick to 1080p @ 30fps or 720p@60fps and follow this guide: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/how-to-make-high-quality-local-recordings.16/

For a smoother video footage, you have to increase the framerate, the higher the framerate, the smoother the image, however, if you drop any frames by overloading your cpu for example, it can make it look choppy and stuttery, so try to prevend that. Just make sure your preset is at veryfast.
