Question / Help Smite and OBS Studio Audio issue

Tried recording some Smite, for some reason the audio comes out too loud and has an echo to it.
Tried with both speakers and headphones, same thing so it cannot be the mic picking up sound.
Never had a problem with OBS recordings using similar settings.
Never hear the audio like this when I am playing Smite.
Is there some special setup for OBS to get record Smite?
Anyone had something similar to this?
Asked at the Smite community but no response.
 
Did a test with another capture program, seems this happens there too so it has to be something with Windows setup, not sure what though.
