Question / Help Small green glitches / artifacts using Epiphan DVI2USB 3.0

As it says in the title, really - small green glitches / artifacts appear momentarily both in the display window in OBS and in any recordings I make using the Epiphan DVI2USB 3.0 in OBS. I've attempted to change all manner of settings to no avail, different video formats, resolutions, bitrates - nothing seems to help.

I've tried different grabbing software with the Epiphan and both its official software and XSplit work fine with it, no glitches at all. Problem is the Epiphan software records AVIs, like it's 20 years ago or something, and XSplit costs too much.

I've also tried recording to my external mechanical drive and internal SSD. No change.

Attached is a screengrab of one of the glitches, illustrated with Speedball 2. They're really blink and you miss it stuff, but they appear with regularity in different parts of the screent, and I see them, and it winds me up.

As an update, I found a cheap 1-year sub to XSplit and am just using that instead now.

The Epiphan software can also use an x264 codec to shrink those AVI files, though its colours are washed out so I'm avoiding using it.

Basically it doesn't work properly with OBS right now, and I don't know why - but other options are available for money/lesser quality.
