Hello,
I've recently taking to streaming as well as recording my games and as I watched one of my recordings, I noticed an odd periodic frame drop. It wasn't insanely large but noticeable for sure. I've been reading through the many, many other dropped fps topics and so far none of them have been too helpful. I've switched all of my settings around and have been toying with it for about 2 hours, even messing with my in game settings and so forth but nothing seems to help. The part that I find interesting is that I don't even need to be recording to see the FPS drop. As I move around on one screen, if I watch my second screen which has OBS up, I can visibly see the FPS drop in OBS while the FPS counter doesn't appear to change at all. I've also done so while having task manager open to see if anything is spiking up in usage during that time but nothing is going above 60% in terms of usage. If that is the case, could it potentially be something other than OBS settings if the display it's picking up is having that occasional stutter? I've gone ahead and attached the log file which I'd like to forewarn has quite the amount of setting changes in it. If anyone can possibly help, it would be greatly appreciated!
