Question / Help Slower Preset = Lower Bit-rate?

I'm not sure if everyone is already aware of this or not, but I have realized that, if your Bit-rate/Buffer is really high (around 3500 - 5000), and you use a "Fast" preset, your stream will have constant stuttering.

But if your bit-rate/buffer is well under 3000 (perhaps around 2500 or lower), and use "Fast" preset, the stream is silky smooth.

Has anybody else experienced this?

My settings are:

Quality: 10
Bit-rate: 2000
Audio: AAC / 128

720p @ 60fps
Lanczos 36 sample filter

CPU Preset: Fast

Most likely your streaming service you use does not support such high bitrates. Preset has nothing to do with it.

More bitrate will result in bigger frame sizes, as the frames gets bigger they become harder to reference since there is so much details to retain and with the preset "fast" you're referencing 2 frames in a different and harder method than the lower presets you should end up noticing the cpu workload especially at 60fps.
