Hello All,

I was hoping someone could take a quick peak at my system and help me maximize my setting. I am streaming world of warcraft and it goes smooth then lags for about 10 seconds and starts again. The audio is fine. It;s also a little jumping in broadcasting.

Here is my info:

I have zero problem with other stuff like emulators or hearthstone. Just Warcraft is pushing it. I am looking to find that sweet point of quality and smooth play. Upgrading will come later.

OBS is very taxing on the CPU and making a comparison with an emulator doesn't prove that the PC is suited for OBS

I doubt you will be able to stream anything until you upgrade

keep the 480p use 15FPS and super or ultrafast Preset. uncheck CFR and make sure to only use a single Capture Method in your Scene which is Game Capture for WoW

Thank you, I will try the setting out later. Atm I am running at 360 and other then it not being good quality I think I found the sweet spot.

If I was going to upgrade my cpu what would you recommend that's good but cost effective. My budget at the moment is very low.

Theres no real Budget shopping ... You pretty much cheap completely out and get another bad CPU like a 8320/8350 or you get something like an current gen i5 6500 which is still not the best for streaming but gets the chop properly done costs about 200$ + a cheap 50$ h110 chipset Mainboard.

What would you recommend for the max bitrate. my upload speed is roughly 2-10mbps. I have cable so it varies a lot.

Cable shouldnt really vary alot when it comes to upload and with a range of 2-10 mbps there no real suggestion to be honest. It has to be somewhat stable, else you will be dropping Frames all over the place.
