Question / Help slight problem with league of legends

Hey all,

Tried searching this on the forums but couldn't really find any answers regarding this particular issue I'm currently having.

Basically whenever I stream league of legends and I tab out during the game then my screen goes still/black for my viewers. Everything else is fine (Menu screen, Login screen) when I tab out but it's just the actual loading screen and the game that I can't seem to get running in the background when I tab out to windows etc.

I'm using gamecapture, and it works without any problems as long as I'm not tabbed out. Any idea if I can fix this using game capture?

Thanks and apologies if I have missed a thread with a fix already covered.

Try the test build real quick and see if the issue happens there as well.

Hey Jim,

Thanks for the reply. The problem still occurs with the test build (the actual game and loading screen won't move/run for viewers if I am tabbed and a black screen appears).

Do you a window capture set to capture the lobby window below the game capture source? Game capture doesn't draw anything if alt-tabbed out of a fullscreen game because the game isn't drawing anything.

You've lost me there mate. I don't use Window capture for when I'm tabbed out - is that what the problem is? I use the same settings for other games such as Battlefield 4, which run fine in the background while I'm tabbed out of the game. I assumed it would be the same for League.

If a game is running in fullscreen mode, it's not captured when alt-tabbed out. Usually it's either a frozen image or black screen. I'm simply saying that when you're alt-tabbed out then perhaps you could try having something else to display, like the lobby window or monitor capture.
