Hello,

I have a problem since I added a second graphics card (2 x GTX 970),
Everything works great in game but my concern is that I love in 60 fps stream , but OBS acted as if he recognized one card because I am only 30 fps. (I have checked the multi adapter option)

Do you have a tip for the game capture of OBS recognize my two graphics cards ?

This by the way everything works perfectly if SLI is disabled.

Thank you.

What is SLI? Is it a good option for recording The Sims 4? I realized that I was using 32 bit when in reality my laptop is a 64 bit. But, it still lags like crazy. Sometimes it even freezes. I tried the wizard beta thing but still no positive result. I tried messing with the settings but found zero luck. Please help. I'd appreciate it. It also says my path isn't valid and to fix it in the settings. What does all that mean? How do I do that? Why is SLI an option for me? Do I have to use it? Is SLI required because of my laptop?

SLI stands for "Scalable Link Interface". It is a method used by combining the power of two graphics cards into a single card to improve performance by having the two cards share the load of rendering a game. The majority of laptops on the market either have an integrated GPU (meaning the GPU is part of the CPU, the main processor) or they have a single, discreet GPU that is not integrated into the CPU, but is a separate processor all together.

There are laptops with SLI hardware, but those are much more expensive and tend to be full desktop replacements. A quick search for "SLI Laptop" on Amazon brings up laptops that range in price from $2000 to $5000. Far to expensive and, honestly, overkill for The Sims 4.

Laptops in the majority of cases are not really good for streaming, mostly due to the amount of work all the hardware has to do to not only stream but to run the game at the same time. Thats not to say all laptops are not up to the task, however, most sub $500 laptops, IMO, would not have the power that would be needed to do everything asked of them. They are made for mobility more than anything
