Question / Help Sli dedicated streaming encoders??

So currently running a I7 7700k, gtx 1060 6gb with 16gb of ram as my base system. But I have two gtx 660 sig2 laying around, now I know I can use one as a dedicated encoder but could I throw them both in an sli them together to use both as a dedicated encoder???

makes no sense, on the card is a dedicated encoding chip, so it doesn't matter for encoding if you play on the card or the card just idles.
