I am using OBS in windows 7 pro. I COULD NOT get the latest version of skype to work well with window capture, researched it a ton, tried many settings, and no matter what, obs would become confused between the "bug" window that pops up with your skype call and the main skype window. in any case, the only solution i found was to download an older version of skype.
now skype sent out an email yesterday saying by mid november you will not be able to log in with that version and will be forced to upgrade to skype 8.
so, my question is how people are dealing with this and whether there have been changes made so that obs can successfully use the new version of skype not only for full screen capture but for me, more importantly, for composite shots within a 2 box, etc.
