Question / Help Skipping frames

Hello all,

I am trying to do some local recording on WoW, and am having a couple of issues.
I read through a few of the guides but i havent been able to fix it all.

First, when I am recording, the game runs as smooth as always, but my recording skips frames every 2 seconds or so.

Second, the quality is not as high as I would like.

Thanks for any help!

can you check the link to your logfile? I am unable to find it. maybe reupload?

Sorry, i am not sure what the second part of your post means.
I have it set to High Quality at the moment.

Also, i do not see an option for window or game capture.

enable Windows aero. it is currently disabled. you are currently using window capture which needs aero enabled to run fluently.

Ok, so I uninstalled and redownloaded, and it seems to be running fine, i must have messed with something i should have.
Thanks for the input everyone.

there is a box to disable aero in OBS under the video tab. I wonder if that was checked before you uninstalled.
