okay so last year i started to lose frames in obs a bit more, mainly when clicking in different tabs, starting/closing games, and also when tabbing out of games. otherwise i dont really lose much. i used to not run into this much at all and even remedied the few frames i was losing by dropping down to lower stream settings but now its been impossible for me to fix. ive searched for hours to try and find someone with my same issue but ive had no luck. ive tried lowering my settings in obs and game. ive capped my fps to various caps including 60, ive tried running obs as admin, and ive even started my obs from scratch with one scene and source and i still drop frames when just clicking into different things like discord, opera, spotify, or a game. i even lose frames upon opening obs. just sitting idle with nothing but obs open i lose frames. ive also tried lowering all my settings in obs and still no change. ive lowered my monitor refresh rates, disabled monitors, deleted wallpaper engine all to no avail and one more thing i only lose frames due to render lag when im not streaming and i lose both due to render and encoding while im live. if someone who has experienced this before or may know how to help troubleshoot the issue would be greatly appreciated. im assuming specs would be important to list here so heres that
