Hello there OBS Forum users! As my forum post title suggests I have been experiencing a rather annoying issue whenever I am playing Dead by Daylight and I am about to start a live stream by using OBS - before I even start the stream/recording. Just having the OBS program open causes me to have sizeable frame rate fluctuations that don't normally occur if OBS is not open. I have stumped on what I could do to rectify this and this never used to happen. If someone could be of aid in finding a solution that could possibly fix my issue I would be very grateful!
P.S. I have already tried running it as administrator and have tried running it normally. I have already tried lowering my bitrate - I know that is a long shot given I'm not recording or streaming when the issue occurs. I also have tried changing the server that I am connecting to for streaming - again grasping at straws here. I completely reinstalled OBS from scratch - which changed nothing. I completely redid my scenes and sources from scratch - thinking maybe one of my sources was causing the issue - to no avail. None of the aforementioned ended up fixing my issue even in a small way.
