Hey guys, thanks for all your help thus far. I've been streaming for two weeks and uploading 1080p recordings to youtube and it's all going really well!
BUT, i updated to the new version 20 or whatever. I anticipated problems (murphy's law) so I took screenshots of ALL my settings JUST IN CASE the update reset everything to default (SO THANKFUL THAT IT DID NOT).
But started doing testing with xbox one and ps4 because i'd like to try to figure out how to capture game/party chat via CTIA cables going into the LINE IN of my avermedia (i think i just realized the cause of my issue).
Anyway, now I get no sound captured in obs from my LGHD2 device "digital audio interface"
I've yet to test it with my gaming PC because I KNOW it's worked with xbox one.
But I think I know the cause... I think it's cause I plugged in the headset line to the capture device to capture the headset and now it thinks it should no longer capture audio from the HDMI, am I right? I'm going to unplug and test and find out. If that's the case, then the next question is "How do I capture incoming chat while capturing game audio without pushing game audio through my headset - because that's annoying).
