Since Hotkeys Not Working anymore

Very awkward. I have used hotkeys, specifically PAUSE RECORDING and CANCEL PAUSE on my OBS program.
Recently, these hotkeys have stopped working. ( ALT+C) Very frustrating as I can't save hdd space by pausing recordings. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

While recording, is the Pause button visible at all (at the right of the Stop Recording button)?

Are the hotkeys still defined properly at Settings, Hotkey ?

Hi, thanks for replying. No Pause button which is weird because I had one before. And, yes, I've redefined the PAUSE hotkey numerous times. It just doesn't seem to remember it.
Frustrating.

You've most likely changed your recording settings to something not compatible with pausing.

You've most likely changed your recording settings to something not compatible with pausing.

The one coming to mind: in Settings, Output with Output Mode: Simple.
Recordings can't be paused if Recording Quality is set to Same as stream.
Solution: set Output Mode to Advanced.
