Question / Help Simply won't start

I have direct x10. I have a good computer. I am using the 64 bit version, but have the same problem with 32. These are my specs:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU U 640 @ 1.20GHz 1.20 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 8.00 GB (7.80 GB usable)
System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor


The rest is not important, not sure if this is, but it seemed the most likely to be.
Please help me!!

never mind, there was some bug with the program, i had to switch back and forth between my drivers before it finally registered that it actually could record
