Hi, please help with our situation that to date is unsolvable. We have a Dell Precision 5820 with AMD WX7100. Windows 10 Pro, updated.

AMD video drivers have been uninstalled and reinstalled many times to ensure they are up to date.

Computer works great other than stream problems with OBS to YouTube. We are streaming a simple RTSP nature cam to YouTube 24/7. Frame rate is 24fps to match output of RTSP camera.

After streaming for a few hours we get an error on the screen that state there has been a video driver timeout.
OBS then reports encoding error and stream ends.

Hoping the answer is located in the log file or crash report.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

The last line in your log ("Device Remove/Reset! Rebuilding all assets...") corresponds with the popup screenshot you posted. This means the GPU driver crashed. That's outside of OBS and no OBS issue. It's either a GPU driver issue, or a GPU hardware issue such as overclocking, overheating, insufficient power supply, mainboard incompatibility, defective hardware.

I was afraid of that. I will head that direction in troubleshooting this. Thank you for the read of the log.

Hi, it's been all day but I managed to get the AMD software to install correctly by disabling windows updates and making a group policy to that keeps windows from messing with the installed video drivers. All was running great for about an hour until I got a new OBS crash that I haven't seen yet , this one might not be related to video drivers. Can anyone learn anything from this new crash report ? https://obsproject.com/logs/36b21HESvFHrS5H_ Thank you
