I'm doing a super-simple Voicemeeter setup, so that I can play (1) desktop audio and (2) USB microphone to my livestream. I have just a few questions to make sure I'm not doing this wrong:
1. I installed Virtual Audio Cable and am using it as a playback device. Is this absolutely necessary or there a simpler way of accomplishing this? I notice OBS already detects Voicemeeter as a sound device, so maybe there's no reason to be using a virtual cable in a setup like mine. Or is it still needed?
2. In OBS > Settings > Audio, I set Desktop Audio Device to "Default" and Microphone to "Voicemeeter Output". Is this correct?
3. In the OBS Panel, do I keep the speaker output off all the time (see A in the picture below) and only use the microphone input, B?
