Question / Help "Simple" mode: What are the x264 settings?

Hi, using simple mode to record is almost perfect for me, I would just like to also record two audio tracks.

However, I've been playing around with the encoder settings for the x264 codec and can't find a way to get a recording as small as simple mode does. So, could someone tell me those settings so I can match simple modes' settings and also record two audio tracks.

I did find this post that seems to answer the question but the recording is twice the size of the simple mode recording.

I will be recording in 720p, the setting I used are:

x264
crf = 18
preset=veryfast
profile=high

According to that post those are the settings for a 720p recording in simple mode. I record a 20 second test video, in simple mode it is 1mb, using the above settings it is 2mb, so it's twice the size.

Simple output mode indistinguishable is crf 14 veryfast or crf 12 ultrafast depending on cpu use level selected in the encoder.
