Hey guys, my issue is pretty simple. I already stream the occasional game on Twitch, but I want to start streaming myself mixing music in Serato.
What I use for audio output (in my room) for this is a Numark Mixtrack Pro II. Basically it plugs in the USB of my PC, and I use it to control my mixing software (Serato), and the audio comes out of it through RCA cables into my speaker set up.
My laptop is pretty simple, with onboard sound card.
When I select my Mixtrack as my audio device on OBS, and try to start or preview the stream, I get the error, "cannot initialize desktop audio sound, more info in the log file". I am assuming this means my Mixtrack is only sending the audio out the RCA out the back.
Do I need to buy an external sound card for this, or is there a workaround?
