Silence Trigger

Hi Everyone,

I had a question about OBS. I want to do my own Radio Show and Broadcast my shows on maybe youtube or Twitch. I know when it comes to DMCA Rules that you can't broadcast Audio without a license. That being said, is there a trigger I can use in OBS to play an Audio File of Copyright free music when no Audio is Detected? That would help out big time. Any help is greatly appreciated :)

The Advanced Scene Switcher plugin has an Audio detector. Maybe this can work for you?:

That's two actions in the bottom part. You'd only use one of them, depending on whether you explicitly start the filler music, or have it always playing and just fade it in. Or maybe a different action works better for you, like switching scenes, or whatever else. Poke around and see what you find.

It might also be better to use a different trigger. Maybe something else happens to drop out the main audio, and you respond to that instead of the audio. Maybe you set up a macro to do the entire sequence of things in one list of actions, instead of tacking yet one more thing onto a Rube Goldberg chain. Again, lots of possibilities here.
