Significant FPS Drop by Simply Opening OBS

As the title states,

On Warzone for instance, I lose on average about 30-50 FPS by literally opening OBS. No recording, no streaming, even turning off the preview mode doesn't help. Computer is running an i9-9900k and a 2080 super with 32 GB of RAM.

What am I doing wrong here? It's had me resort to using NDI scan converter just so I don't have to have OBS open on my computer at all, but I'd actually like to be able to get a simple single-PC setup working fine.

Log from my latest stream here if needed: https://obsproject.com/logs/r4ATcbVPcHcuQUTP
(I've posted about another problem on the forums here recently, so if you see the same log/UN, it's just ole' me trying to put out the fires of OBS and streaming lol)

And if you connect all your displays to your 2080 and none to your motherboard?
Good call. Just unplugged my motherboard HDMI monitor and (without OBS open, however) got another 30-40 frames. Looks like it's time to get that HDMI to display port adapter (it's an old monitor).

Or maybe it's time to upgrade my gaming monitor (few years old ASUS) and finally get rid of this old monitor that I've been using for the third screen.

Honestly knew the monitors and refresh rate differences were causing problems before, but I thought the new windows update addressed that. Maybe not?

Actually, I figured since that made a pretty big difference without OBS running that it would at least help when I ran it. It actually really didn't. Once OBS was opened, frames dipped way down again (though granted, not quite as bad).

So your solution did help, I'm getting much better frames now off stream, it's just not for the problem I was writing about lol.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

I even tried creating a new scene collection for a fresh start and really didn't notice any difference still.
