Hello,
I have got a question about the signal way and transformation.
### My setup ###
Source PC:
NVIDIA Control Panel Display Settings:
Resolution: 3840 x 2160
Refresh rate: 30 Hz
Desktop color depth: Highest (32-bit)
Output color format: YCbCr422
Ouptut color depth: 10 bpc
HDMI 4k Splitter:
1xHDMI Input
2xHDMI Output
Destination PC:
Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4k (can receive 3840 x 2160, 30 Hz, YCbCr422, 10 bpc)
Open Broadcaster installed
Monitor
### I think the way and transformation is this: ###
The Source PC graphic card generates the YUV-Signal and transmit it over HDMI to the Splitter.
The Splitter receives the YUV-Signal, split it and transmit it to its two outputs
One Output transmit the YUV-Signal over HDMI to the Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4k HDMI input.
The Open Broadcaster Software receives the YUV-Signal from the Intensity and display it over "Fullscreen Preview Mode" on the Monitor.
Is this correct?
### My Question ###
What is when the Monitor only supports 3840x2160, 30 Hz, RGB?
Do the graphic card transform the "Fullscreen Previe Mode"-Signal from Open Broadcaster Software to a RGB-Singal?
If this is the case, do I have a performance loss?
