When I preview stream it shows the video signal in the top left and cannot be moved.

Any help would be gladly appreciated.

Doesnt seem to be any sound too...

Sounds like something you'd need to configure through the card's driver. Open the video capture source's properties window and click the Configure button at the top. If you don't see a relevant option in there somewhere, and can't configure it in the software provided by the manufacturer, I'm not sure what else to suggest.

Doesnt seem to be possible to make any changes in the configure of the card.

Well, does the source take the full size of the preview?
Did you configure the capture card for the correct input resolution?
Did you try fitting the source to the screen and using edit-scene to move it?

For sound it can depend on the card, did you activate "Use device audio"? If you then get no sound you might have to use the crossbar to configure the audio encoder of your capture card to use the correct audio input pin.
