Thanks in advance!

You are probably using window capture with aero disabled. If you enable aero (either uncheck "disable aero on startup" in OBS, or select a translucent skin in windows and make sure "enable desktop composition" is enabled), only the window you define will be shown, even if other windows are opened on top of it.

I had a similar issue trying to set up a friends stream a couple of days ago. OBS gurus here told me that he probably had aero disabled...and they were right. Maybe this is your problem as well and you should just enable aero (assuming your other settings are correct).

Thank you, did work when i turned ON the aero thing! So a very simple problem for others then! But Is there a way to stream with it off and this dosent happen? Thanks alot!

There is not. It's just the way capturing works in windows. Without aero, the windows aren't seen as separate layers and can't be captured as such.

You could of course make sure you keep this window somewhere where nothing else will ever cover it. This might be a possibility with a multi monitor setup, but is still quite a hassle, and turning aero on is probably preferable.

Okey. Thank you very much for awnser! :)

Well, got a great computer just less internet and heard aero can slow things down. But I guess I wont even notice anything with it on!

Aero has nothing to do with your internet connection.

Just remember this:
Window capture with aero is fast. Monitor capture with aero is slow.
Window capture without aero is slow. Monitor capture without aero is fast.

But that's all pc performance, and is unrelated to internet speeds.
