Question / Help Show webcam while recording

Hi

i wanted to know if thers a way to show the webcam output while im recording my display screen ,windows 10

i have a scene with webcam and display and it works fine when i see the file after i record.

but while i'm recording i cant see myself in the webcam in the corner like i set it up .

is that how it works or is there a way to show my webcam feed while im recording?

so what do i press to show up the webcam while recording?

when i finish recording i can see the video including myself in the webcam but i want to see myself while i'm recording

OBS doesn't do on-screen overlays. You will likely need a second display to run OBS on (make sure it's connected to the video card)

Yeah, second display and then you can use Fullscreen Projector or Windowed Projector to monitor your sources (you can build the scene all from cloned sources and preview this whole scene windowed or fullscreen, kind of "multi-viewer" substitute).

Can anyone lay out the steps on how to do this please, I'm not savy with these tools

Right click on your webcam, and select "Windowed Projector". That will pop out just that -- a window, which serves as a "projector" for that source.
