Question / Help Should I suspect ISP's packet throttle?

this issue drives me crazy.....

it started to happen couple month ago. on random time (almost every time nowadays) whenever i try to stream on twitch

they maintain stable speed for couple minute, drops connection for couple second and connected again. This lags streaming

a lot and very distracting to watch my stream....

I tried lowering bitrate, changing server, check through twitch bandwith test finding best server......

here is my log, and I just switched my modem today (although i knew it wasn't going to help)

When i checked my internet speed through testmy.net, i should not have any problem with uploading speed.

Should i suspect that they provide proper speed for first couple minute and shapes my packet?

If so, what should i tell them to remove packet throttling?

I feel like it's ridiculous that i have to worry about packet throttle while I'm using business internet.

If you're using business internet, they still might be shaping your packets... but I doubt it. Contact them to make sure.

What happens when you run Twitchtest on custom (2 minutes) for your region? Post a link to the screenshot of those results.

Lastly, it might not be your ISP. It could be your router/switch/firewall/modem. Try connecting your computer as directly to the internet as you can... (i.e. modem in your case), and unplug all other devices/disconnect all wireless items. Does it work? If so keep adding the items back into your chain until you find the item that's messing up your connection.

If not, see if you can get a different model modem as a loaner from your ISP to test... after all, you're business-class, which makes you an overpaying sucker^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H I mean 'highly valued customer" in their eyes, so don't be afraid to raise a REALLY BIG STINK about your issue. ;-)
