Question / Help Should i downscale?

hi so im wondering what would be better streaming in 1080p at 30 fps or 720p at 60? i cant do both fairly easily but 1080 at 60 fps is too much.

When it comes to 720p 60fps versus 1080p 30fps, it's very subjective to each person. I personally like 720p 60fps more because it's just so smooth and nice, but some people prefer 1080p 30fps for clarity

For for clarity :D i perfer 1080p but like Jim said people have there tastes, really it's up to you as the streamer to pick which you thinks better.

Yes, the playback is really jittery. It's never as smooth as when you watch the VOD in a media player.

That could be an issue with OBS, try turning off multithreaded optimizations in advanced and see if it gets any smoother. It's an issue with OBS and 60 fps sadly.

It's not an issue with OBS, it's 100% the Flash player. The same VOD when downloaded and watched in a media player looks 100% smooth.
