Shaky Church Streaming

I am a small church pastor and I am the IT dept. Since CoVid, I purchased an PTZoptics, connected to a 2016 mac mini and the sound board is connected to macmini thru a Scarlett. I just switched from Zoom/restream to OBS. I recorded one service and the video was delayed (robotic) and sound was sightly off. There are a lot of options provided by OBS. Being a novice I am asking for help. What are some adjustments I can make to OBS? (The video does not have to be hi-def, but I can't find that type of option). We do not have any fast moving parts in a worship service, I just want it to be a little more life like. Any help would be helpful.

At a high level, real-time video rendering is computationally demanding. and a small form factor Mac Mini is the opposite of a powerful system (and like a laptop, subject to thermal throttling)... so yes, you'll need to keep your settings realistic for the system you have. And then be very careful with settings both at Operating System and OBS level (turning off background tasks that don't need to be running, consuming RAM, etc)

Running a simple livestream at 720p30(fps) should be doable with care and optimization.
Beware, being free open-source software (FOSS), the expectation is that you'll read the documentation, become familiar with the technical implications, etc. With that said, it isn't that complex for simple setups, if one is careful, methodical, etc [not typical MacOS user behaviour, but not impossible ;^) ]

There are a number of us here who run House of Worship livestreams, though that makes for a very small minority of the user community in these forums). To research on your own, you should look for threads here (and in Windows forum, as many OBS settings will be same/similar) referencing livestream with an under-powered computer.
