Hello there,
I want to build my first streaming only pc to realize a dual-pc setup.
Hoping to get some information or experience from you guys, I decided to write a post here.

ATM my gaming pc is a Win 10 setup based of a Ryzen 9 5900x and RTX 3070 with custom waterloop. I play in 2160p 60fps (minimum). My streaming pc should handle streaming in 936p60fps and recording in 1080p60fps.
Since, I already got some components, I would really like them to set them up into the streaming pc. These components are: Elgato 4k60 pro mk2 capture card, Elgato facecam, GSKILL DDR4 3200 32GB C16 and Nvidia quadro p1000.
My first initial thoughts are to use x264 enconding for streaming and nvenc for recording

Maybe in this forum are guys, which already have a similar build for streaming and recording, which can help me out to build mine properly.

Cheers.

use nvenc for streaming and recording why limit to 936p unless you have bad upload speed i would stream at least 1080P.
there is no need for the elgato4k 60 for stuff directly on the pc.

1. 936p because twitch doesnt support more then 6000 to 7500 Mbit/s for non-affiliate streams. Best quality by 7500 Mbit/s are 936p.
2. I want to build a dual-pc setup (1x gaming rig + 1x streaming rig). So the video imput must be captured and i dont like ndi or obs teleport.

Personally, I wouldn't do a 2 PC set-up but if I was, I'd move the 3070 to the streaming rig & upgrade the gaming rig with a GPU that can actually handle 2160p@60FPS.

I dont have a streaming pc yet. In short, my question is what cpu would be work fine in streaming + recording?
Btw my 3070 runs smooth in 2160@60fps

3070 is thin for that resolution.

I have no recommendations but I run a 12900k/3090 & it does everything I require.
