Question / Help Settings to stream on OBS

Hi all, after my ISP upgraded my internet service (thanks god), I decided to stream some games since my upload speed will allow me now.

Im very confused on the settings.

I have a FX6300 6 core CPU
12 GB RAM G.skill 2100Mhz
A 240GB SSD
2TB HDD

Download speed 25Mbit / Upload speed 2.5Mbit.

With the new OBS, I just configured the Video bitrate to 1900, the encoder to X264, the server to US WEST: Los Angeles, which I tested with the twitch speed tester and was the best result.
The quality was OK, 720P, but.. I felt some FPS drop, and some times my ping went from 60(avg) to 120ms. Is there any way I can fix the FPS drop, and try to solve those ping peaks?

Thank you very much! And if there is any additional info I can provide, please let me know.

Are you basing your decision on bandwidth, rtt (actually meaningless) or quality (most important)?

If the connection quality is too low, your stream will simply not function right.

Post a screenshot of the results of twitchtest.

Thanks for your reply Harold. I would like to have an equilibrium. I reduced the bandwith to 1810 in order to keep streaming in 720p.
What would you change? Since I'm playing battlefield 4 I need to have some quality. But at the same time I need PC performance, because playing with low fps sux.

Do you think I'm killing my upload speed with 1810Mbits out of 2420Mbits?

It seems like the ping is pretty stable. Now I would like to fix that fps drop. In this second test, there are some differences from the 1st I made of about 200Kbps less on every result

As you requested:
