Hello ive been using Obs to record Minecraft for my youtube channel, but despite having 40-60fps on Minecraft, obs records like 10 fps when im moving around, and that's pretty annoying. I'm not a pro in video recording and most of the settings doesn't mean anything to me, so I'm looking for recommandations to record correctly
pc spec :
2.5ghz cpu 4 cores, 4gb ram (1.5gb allocated to minecraft when playing), intel hd graphics 3000
this isn't the best pc ever but can still run correctly.
I can tell the recording issue is from obs, because when I'm using discord's livestream function it records smooth.

Im Not That Great When it Comes To Settings But May be Able To Help, What Resolution Do You Record In???

Then use Discord.

OBS is a video compositor and switcher. It consumes GPU resources when running-- even when not recording or streaming. It has features pure screen recorders or screen sharing solutions don't have, and these features use additional resources.

Whatever uncapped frame rate you're able to achieve with OBS not running will be reduced when you launch OBS, and the effect is likely to be more dramatic the less powerful your machine is. Recording 60fps Minecraft requires more GPU power than just running 60fps Minecraft. If you wan to record 40fps Minecraft, then you need to have a machine capable of running Minecraft faster than 40fps when OBS is not running.
