Bug Report Settings not sticking

In the settings -> video section I want it to always choose the monitor option. However when I hit apply and go back into the setting it has switched to the custom size with my monitor's resolution (1920x1080).

This is a problem for me because I sometimes play games on my big screen with a controller and it has a funky resolution (1824x1026). I use Win+P key to switch from computer only to projector only. So when I switch to the TV - OBS still has custom 1080p resolution selected and I have to select monitor for it to update the resolution.

The monitor option actually doesn't "stay" with the monitor option. By selecting the monitor option, you're actually just immediately setting the base resolution to what your monitor currently is, and then keeping the custom resolution option. It's a deceptive UI, I know. But if you're constantly changing your base resolution, that can get confusing with scene layouts.

Personally, I recommend setting up two encoding profiles in OBS settings: one with the normal resolution, and one with the TV resolution. That would make it easier to switch between the two when you switch your monitor resolution.
