Question / Help Settings not saving!

I can only make a profile, every time I hit settings and attempt to change other settings inside of my OBS client, such as editing my bitrate, streamkey, video settings and click apply then onto another tab such as Microsoft Noise Gate, set it up and check on video again, all of the settings have reverted to default and the bitrate is back to 1000. Update! Osiris... god bless him. Told me to try and set my settings with my Antivirus disabled. Once I disabled my settings were beginning to save. I use VIPRE which I suppose was being extremely strict with my apps and folders being allowed. I hope this helps you guys!
