I was interested in starting streaming, however I only have 1 upload. One of the main games I want to stream is CS:GO.

My PC specs are:
- Intel i5 2500K @3.3 GHz
- GTX 550 Ti
- 8GB RAM

I tried streaming earlier with 900 bitrate, and I got 350 ping in game, so I lowered it to 600. I was at a constant 80 ping, but the quality was very bad. Upgrading my internet isn't an option, so I want to find out the perfect OBS settings to make my stream work. I understand my stream won't be 1080p, but I want it to look good enough to watch and not lag. Hope someone can help, thanks :D

1mbit upload is just not enough by far...

you could try something like downscaling to 480p with 25fps using the medium preset and a bitrate so your ping will be stable

but i cant say if its going to work a 100% since the medium will tax quite hard on your cpu even if it is only 480p

overall i wouldnt even think about streaming in your case

If you're getting high ping, that means your stream and the game are competing too much for your internet connection. First try enabling "Minimize Network Impact" in Broadcast Settings, and if that still doesn't help, try lowering the bit rate that you are streaming at.

I don't recommend streaming above 480p, probably closer to 360p. But yes, you won't be able to stream in good quality with that upload.
