Settings for YouTube videos

Hello, I want to record the screen and my voice to publish it on YouTube and I want the best settings for obs , condition that the file size is not huge. I want to record an hour and the file size is 1giga , for example. I do not want the quality to be wow but acceptable

Ok, then try use .mkv. What other settings are you worried about? 720 vs 1080 will make a difference too on the file size.

If you want a hour long file to be 1 giga, then you just need set the appropriate CBR value. Resolution does not matter in this case.
